최여진 엄마가 방송에서 공개됐다.

10일 방송된 KBS 2TV '여유만만'에는 슈퍼모델 출신 탤런트 최여진과 최여진 엄마 정현숙 씨가 등장했다.

이날 최여진의 엄마는 훗날 예비 사위를 맞을 것을 언급하며 “희망사항 없다. 그냥 딸이 행복했으면 좋겠다”고 말했다.

이어 “그래도 ‘이 사람만은 안돼’라고 내가 말하면 좀 들어줬으면 좋겠다”는 바람을 드러냈다. 최여진 엄마는 “가난한 사람은 안 된다. 큰 걸 바라는 게 아니라, 여진이가 고생 안할 정도로 책임져주는 사람이 좋다”고 말했다.

또, 이날 최여진은 "엄마가 지금 내 나이보다 어릴 때 이혼해 자식들의 엄마로만 살며 고생했다"고 눈물을 쏟았다. 이어 "나는 지금 화려하고 즐거운 삶인데, 엄마는 자식들을 키웠다. 엄마는 여자보다 엄마를 택한 거다. 나는 그렇게 못할 것 같다. 그래서 내가 이제 지켜주고 싶다"고 덧붙였다.
