South American delicacies at InterContinental Seoul Coex


InterContinental Seoul Coex is offering the “Viva! Wonder Hour” promotion until July 12 in celebration of the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The hotel’s lobby lounge will be decorated with soccer-themed items and traditional South American artwork. Various South American dishes including churassco from Brazil, asado (BBQ) from Argentina, cazuela de ave (chicken soup) and curanto from Chile, and ceviche as well as quinoa salad from Peru will be available. A variety of wines from Argentina and Chile as well as special wines such as the Park Ji-sung Chianti Riserva and Casillero del Diablo, the official wine of Manchester United, will be served as well. The Wonder Hour promotion is priced at 45,000 won (55,000 for premium wine options), including tax and service charge, and is available from 6-9 p.m. from Monday to Saturday. ‘Viva! Brazil!’ package at Sheraton Seoul D Cube City

Sheraton D Cube City Hotel is presenting the “Viva! Brazil!” package in celebration of the 2014 FIFA World Cup games. The package includes a one-night stay in a Deluxe Room, in-room Brazilian snacks including churrasco ― a traditional Brazilian grilled meat dish ― nacho chips with three different kinds of dipping sauces as well as two bottles of beer served with “cocktail churrasco.” All package guests can enjoy the breakfast buffet at Feast at a discounted price of 29,700 won. ‘Summer Fever’ packages at the Plaza

The Plaza is offering three types of “Summer Fever” packages until Aug. 31. The beer package includes a one-night stay in a Deluxe Room, a choice of two beers from among Blue Moon, Anchor Steam, Sierra Nevada, Lagunitas IPA, Racer 5 and Samuel Adams, and a snack set. The dessert package includes a one-night stay in a Deluxe Room, a fruit-topped souffle puff pancake and a premium bingsu (ice flakes). The breakfast package includes a one-night stay in a Deluxe Room and breakfast for two at the hotel’s buffet. All package guests will receive a beauty kit, a 10 percent discount at the hotel’s restaurants as well as complimentary access to the hotel’s fitness club. Brazilian cuisine at Ibis Ambassador Seoul Gangnam


Ibis Ambassador Seoul Gangnam and Myeong-dong’s buffet restaurant La Table is presenting special Brazilian dishes until July 14. The traditional Brazilian dish churrasco will be included in the buffet. Dinner buffet guests will receive a glass of Park Jisung Chianti Riserva wine. Buffet guests who fill out a survey will be eligible for a lucky draw: 10 guests will win a Brazuca, the official match ball of the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Guests who dine at the dinner buffet on a day that the Korean national team wins will receive unlimited beer at the Gangnam branch and unlimited wine at the Myeong-dong branch. Thai cuisine at Grand Hyatt Seoul

Grand Hyatt Seoul’s international buffet restaurant The Terrace is holding a special Thai food promotion from June 26 to July 6.
