Seoul police detained a 57-year-old high school teacher Thursday for allegedly showing exam questions to his students in exchange for payment.

The suspect, currently working at a girls’ high school in Seoul, is believed to have leaked midterm and final exam questions to a student at his school six times in the past two years, according to the National Police Agency. He is suspected of receiving 20 million won ($19,700) from her mother.

The suspect allegedly leaked questions for the Korean, English and math tests, which are considered key subjects. He is believed to have received payment in the form of cash and wire transfers.

Police found that the suspect proposed the deal to the student’s parents during a parent-teacher conference in 2012. They suspect that the teacher also sold the questions to at least two other students in the school.

Officials are investigating to see if other teachers or students were involved in the illegal sales of test questions.
