Korea, China to hold summit on Monday

 South Korean President Park Geun-hye will hold summit talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping to discuss issues of mutual concerns in The Hague early Monday, the presidential office announced Sunday.

The summit will take place on the sidelines of the third global nuclear summit in the Netherlands city.

Park left Seoul on Sunday for her visi t to the Netherlands and Germany. She is scheduled to meet with Xi upon her arrival in The Hague where she will attend the nuclear summit, the office said.

 It will be their fourth meeting since taking office and the first this year. 

 The two leaders are expected to exchange opinions mainly on pending issues on the Korean Peninsula, including North Korea's nuclear program, and ways to further relations between their countries, Yonhap News said.(khnews@heraldcorp.com)
