Girls’ Generation made a much-anticipated return to the music scene last month with the new EP “Mr. Mr.,” topping major music charts in South Korea.

The nine girls are reaffirming their global popularity with the release of the new music video for “Mr. Mr.,” which has received more than 4.3 million views and comments on YouTube as of Monday, just days after the video was released on Feb. 28.

In the video, the girls portray glamorous nurses dressed in pink, as they play doctor in a colorful operating room, trying to revive their “Mr. Mr.” The video alternates between vintage black-and-white and vivid filters.

The new release has earned Girls’ Generation favorable reviews at home and abroad, with music magazine Billboard commenting that “the act’s new EP ‘Mr. Mr.’ is their most focused and mature release to date and their latest video follows suit in a glossy world where the girls prove they can still enchant more than ever.”

Girls’ Generation will stage its first television performance of “Mr. Mr.” on Mnet’s “M! Countdown” on March 6.
