Veteran K-pop boy group g.o.d is gearing up for a return to the music scene, as fresh rumors circulate about a potential reunion.

Amid talks that all of the g.o.d members have agreed to reunite and some have finished recording a new song by renowned Korean producer duo Double Kick, news outlets recently reported that g.o.d is slated to make an official comeback in March.

In response, officials close to the members have denied claims of an official return so soon, saying that nothing has been carved in stone yet.

“Since Yoon Kye-sang and Danny Ahn are very busy shooting their dramas right now, a comeback in March is unlikely. In fact, whether all of the original members will even participate is still undecided,” said g.o.d member Kim Tae-woo’s agency Soulshop Entertainment.

“While we have indeed received a new song from producers Double Kick, we have not decided whether it will be included on the new g.o.d album,” it added.

K-pop legends g.o.d debuted in 1999 with the hit single “To Mother” and rose to stardom through popular songs such as “Lie,” “One Candle,” and “Road.” Since the group disbanded in 2006, the members have been pursuing separate paths in different fields under individual management.

Despite the members’ continued hopes for a reunion, g.o.d experienced problems in getting all of their agencies to agree on a contract.

Although it might not come immediately and no final decisions have been made, a g.o.d. comeback seems to be in the works.
