A 16-year-old Virginia girl who allegedly published naked pictures of herself on Twitter was charged with distributing child pornography, WAVY-TV reported.
But there is currently no suggestion that anyone else was involved, or that she was coerced. She allegedly did not upload images of herself as “revenge porn,” which is posting sexually explicit photographs and detailed personal information about people such as ex-girlfriends.
So far, few states including New Jersey and California have explicit laws against revenge porn.
