A slew of Chinese media outlets said that the two stars had been secretly dating for two months, but did not provide solid evidence or details.

The agencies of the two stars flatly denied the reports as “nonsense.”

“The news circulating in China is absolutely groundless. The media outlets have not offered any grounds or comments of the sources to underpin their reports,” Park’s agency S.A.L.T Entertainment was quoted as saying.

Lee’s agency Starhaus Entertainment also stated, “The rumor that they are dating is 300 percent untrue,” adding that such rumors have sprung up because the stars are on good terms. 

The celebrities rose to prominence in China, helped by the recently ended Korean drama “The Heirs,” portraying friendship, rivalries and loves of youthful and rich heirs.
