Being single doesn’t have to mean spending the holiday season alone with nothing to do.

For those who find themselves without family or loved ones to spend Christmas with, there are a number of events being held around Seoul for singles.

Cinema franchise Megabox will host a special Christmas Eve event specifically geared toward singles searching for love. The Megabox in the Coex Mall will reserve an entire theater for 83 randomly selected single women and 83 randomly selected men to come together for a special screening of the holiday classic, “Love Actually.”

The event is highlighted by its matchmaking intent, with the theater’s seating organized for men and women to pair off, with each pair of seats coming with two drinks and a bucket of popcorn to share.

Those interested in tickets for the singles screening raffle can register online at www.facebook.com/megaboxon. Applicants are to be selected at “random,” but those who give compelling reasons why they wish to participate will be given preference. Registration for the event will end on Dec. 18 and the results will be announced the following day.

For those looking for something more soulful, 4Men will be holding end-of-year holiday concerts on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Members Kim Young-jae, Shin Yong-Jae and Kim Won-joo are famous for their comedic and entertaining interactions with the audience during their live shows, but are best known for their songs about love and relationships.

To mark the holiday season, 4Men will be hosting a “singles-friendly” holiday concert series by offering 30 lucky singles special Christmas gifts at the show. For those who wish to register for these prizes visit, https://twitter.com/4MENCONCERT.

For those singles looking to liven up their holiday with a more upbeat option, then the upcoming “One Hip Hop Party” is the place to be. The show is not being held exclusively for singles, but the hip-hop party is highlighting the concert as an event for all the singles and is encouraging people to come, let loose and have a memorable night.

“One Hip Hop Party” will be held on Dec. 21 and featuring headlining acts Epik High; Baechigi; and Hyung Don and Dae Joon. For more information visit, interpark.com.
