The Malaysian Embassy’s trade and investment center is inviting Korean companies to register for INTRADE 2013, a trade fair to take place in Kuala Lumpur from Nov. 24-28, to meet prospective business partners from both developed and emerging economic sectors.
Korean companies that participate in INTRADE 2013, the seventh International Trade Malaysia, can be matched with prospective Malaysian partners in one-on-one meetings during the trade fair, according to the embassy.
INTRADE 2013 will focus on well-developed and emerging sectors such as building and construction materials; electronics and information technology; machine tools and manufacturing components; and furniture/interior decoration and lifestyle.
“We want to help Korean buyers get matched with the Malaysian providers that are most suited to what they need,” said Rashid Mohd Zain, trade commissioner at the embassy’s Trade and Investment Center in South Korea. “We aim to increase exports to South Korea and overall bilateral trade between our two countries.”
INTRADE 2013 will provide an opportunity for Korean buyers to “source Malaysia’s wide range of quality products and services,” the embassy said.
Accommodation for five nights and four days will be provided free of charge for Korean buyers participating in the trade fair, Zain said.
Korean companies interested in participating in INTRADE 2013 must register by Oct. 4. For more information, visit www.intrademalaysia.my or contact trade assistant Lee Sun-jin at (02) 739-6813. Registration applications should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
