한류스타 류시원(41)씨가 이혼한 부인으로 부터 협박 등 혐의로 피소됐다.

2일 서울 강남경찰서에 따르면 류씨의 전 부인 조모(32·여)씨는 류씨가 자신을 협박했다며 지난 2월말 경찰에 고소장을 제출했다.

류씨는 지난 1일 오후 경찰서에 출석해 피고소인 조사를 받았다.

경찰 관계자는 “금전·양육문제는 아니며 자세한 내용은 밝힐 수 없다”면서 “추 가소환 일정 등은 미정”이라고 말했다.

한편 이 부부의 이혼 조정 절차는 23일 서울 양재동 서울가정법원에서 재개될 예정이다.

류시원 부부는 지난 2010년 결혼했으며 2011년 3월 아내 조모 씨가 서울가정법원에 이혼조정신청서를 제출하며 파경을 맞았다.

Ryu Si-won charged with threatening his wife

Korean actor Ryu Si-won has been accused of threatening his wife, according to police.

The woman surnamed Cho lodged a complaint against the 41-year-old actor for threatening her at the end of February, according to Gangnam Police Station on Tuesday.

Ryu appeared at the police station for questioning on Monday afternoon.

“(The case is) not about financial or child custody issues. The schedule for any further summoning has not been set yet,” said an official.

The police official declined to elaborate further.

Meanwhile, the couple’s divorce mediation process is to be resumed at the Seoul Family Court on March 23.

The hallyu star tied the knot with Cho in 2010 but he faced marriage crisis when Cho filed for divorce a couple years later.
