Lee Soo-young released her second cover album “Classic: The Second Remake” on Thursday.

“Lee Soo-young was thankful to be on ‘I Am a Singer 2.’ During the show she said that she was able to redevelop her love and passion for singing,” said T Entertainment on Wednesday. “This album expresses Lee’s emotions from back in the days when she wanted to go up on stage very badly.”

The singer also said through her agency that she was very pleased to share the songs with her fans, and that she hoped that everyone who listens to them will share the same giddy feeling she felt while she was singing them.

The album contains many cover versions that were sung on the TV program “I Am a Singer 2” last year. The tracks include Lee Seung-chul’s “Fate,” Park Hyo-shin’s “Snow Flower” and Kim Kyu-min’s “Old Story,” which have all received many accolades.

The album also includes songs that were not sung on the program: Sung Si-kyung’s “Hee Jae,” Yoon Jong-shin’s “Mo-Churum” and Yoo Young-suk’s “The More I Love You.”

“I Am a Singer 2” was an MBC survival singing program which aired in 2012. Well-known singers such as Baek Doo-san, Lee Young-hyun and Lee Eun-mi participated in the live show.

Her new album was released through different music sites on Thursday, while CD sales start the following day.
