Samsung Electronics, the world’s largest tech company, has won four tech awards from the European Imaging and Sound Association.

EISA, an association of some 50 magazines from 19 European countries, hands out awards for technology, design and innovation to companies worldwide.

Samsung’s Smart TV ES8000 Series, HT-E6750W surround sound system for Blu-rays, Galaxy S3 smartphone and NX20 digital camera were recognized for their technological achievements by EISA this year.

Notably, Galaxy S3, which was recently released worldwide, was praised for its S-Voice communication software embedded in the smartphone and 4.8-inch high-definition AMOLED screen.

Samsung won the EISA award in the mobile phone category for six consecutive years.

Also, its digital mirrorless camera NX20, with 20.3-megapixel photographic capability and Wi-Fi enabling instant connection to social network platforms and blogs, won an award.

These prizes follow last year’s four awards won by the Korean tech giant in smart TV, digital camera and lens, and mobile handset categories.
