YG Entertainment CEO reveals story of Seo Taiji and Boys

YG Entertainment CEO and former member of Korean group Seo Taiji and Boys Yang Hyun-suk has revealed the story behind the formation of the group for the first time on a TV talk show.
The dance guru said on SBS’ “Healing Camp” that he met the leader of the band, Seo Taiji, in a club and Seo paid him a large amount of money to learn his dance moves.
They started dance lessons after Seo’s request, but Yang later lost contact with him.
The dancer-turned-producer also spoke about his childhood and his extraordinary efforts to be a top hip-hop dancer.
‘Seo Taiji and Boys’ was formed with singer Seo Taiji and dancers Lee Juno and Yang Hyun-Suk. The band released its first album in 1992 and disbanded in 1996.
The episode will air on May 14 and May 21.

천방지축이었던 양현석의 어린 시절과 춤에 대한 열정으로 114에 전화를 걸어 상담한 사연 등도 함께 공개된다.
