Hungry lion goes after baby wearing zebra colors, in vain

A video of a lioness trying feverishly scratching and clawing at a baby behind a thick glass is amusing millions online.

In the video, the apparently hungry feline tries fruitlessly to attack 13-month-old Jack, who is wearing zebra-like black-and-white striped hoodie.

Jack’s mother Heather Baltzor said that she did not intend to dress her son in resemblance to a wild animal, and had no clue as to why the beast was so attracted to her son.

“We just thought it was hilarious,” Baltzor said.

But Jack was not at all fazed by the great cat.

“He (Jack) loves kitties, so he was waving and saying, ‘Hi kitty kitty,’” said Baltzor. “We weren’t scared at all.”

사자공격 쿨하게 무시하는 아기 영상 화제!


동물원에서 유리벽 뒤의 아기를 잡아먹으려는 듯 맹렬히 발버둥을 치는 암사자의 영상이 네티즌 사이에서 인기를 끌고 있다.

이 영상에서 몹시 배고픈 듯 보이는 암사자는 얼룩말을 연상시키는 흑백 줄무니 옷을 입은 13개월된 아기 잭을 공격하려고 애쓴다.

잭의 어머니 헤더 발트조르 씨는 굳이 얼룩말처럼 보이게 하기 위해서 아들에게 이 옷을 입힌 것은 아니라고 하면서, 왜 사자가 자신의 아들에게 이렇게 이끌렸는지 몰랐다고 말했다.

“(옷을 입힐 때는) 그냥 웃겨서 입혔어요,”라고 그녀는 말했다.

그러나 암사자의 격렬한 공세에도 불구하고 잭은 전혀 무서워하지 않았다

발트조르씨는 “(잭은) 고양이들을 아주 좋아합니다. 그래서 잭은 그냥 손을 흔들면서 ‘고양이 안녕~’이라고 했죠”라고 말했다. 그녀는 가족이 전혀 두려움에 떨지 않았다고 설명했다.
