Lady Gaga meets fans, gives media run-around

Lady Gaga has been playing hide-and-seek with reporters and photographers waiting at her hotel and outside Seoul Olympic Stadium this week, trying to remain unseen in public.

The 26-year-old star arrived in Seoul last Friday but has been avoiding media contact. However, the U.S. pop singer has met fans waiting for her at her hotel lobby on several occasions. The Korea Herald exclusively acquired photographs of Lady Gaga meeting her fans from in and out of the country, while professional photographers failed to snap the star.

At her final rehearsal on Thursday, Lady Gaga went through all the songs to be sung at the “Born This Way Ball” but still expressed anxiety on her Twitter account on Friday morning.

“Nervous for tonight. Hope I make little monsters happy and proud,” she wrote.

“This is a very special moment for Haus of Gaga. We thank you so much. Enjoy our music, fashion installations & pop performance art tonight,” she added.

사진에 담긴 레이디 가가는 매니저를 대동하고 팬들에게 둘러싸여 웃고 있었으며 팬들과 함께 사진을 찍기도 했다.

지난 일주일간 현장을 지키고 있던 일부기자들은 이렇게 사진찍기가 힘든적은 처음이라며 가가의 언론 따돌리기에 혀를 내둘렀다.

목요일밤 레이디가가는 올림픽 주경기장에서 최종 리허설을 마치고 밤12시쯤 호텔로 돌아왔고 오늘 아침일찍 잠실올림픽운동장으로 출발한것으로 알려졌다. 전날 레이디 가가는 오늘 있을 실제 BTW 콘서트를 완벽히 소화하기 위해 전날 주경기장에서 콘서트에서 부를 전곡을 모두 열창했다고 알려졌다.

오늘 오전 8시18분쯤 그는 트위터에 “오늘밤을 생각하면 긴장된다. 우리 몬스터들 (레이디 가가 팬들의 애칭)을 행복하고 자랑스러워하게 해줄 수 있기를 바란다”라는 글을 남겼다.
