Report: Schwarzenegger and Shriver may get back together

Los Angeles (dpa) - Maria Shriver is considering putting herdivorce from former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger onhold, celebrity website TMZ.com reported Monday.

Shriver, who is a scion of the Kennedy political clan, filed fordivorce from the action movie star-turned-Republican politician inearly July after learning that he had fathered a love child over 14 years earlier with a domestic worker at the family's mansion.

The couple had been married 25 years, with Shriver sticking by heroutspoken husband through numerous reports of dalliances and sexualharassment that were leveled against him.

The report said that Shriver was reconsidering the divorce becauseof her Catholic religious beliefs. Schwarzenegger has also been wooing her energetically in a bid to save the marriage, the report said.

슈워제네거는 2003년 캘리포니아 주지사 선거에 출마했을 때 성추문에 휩싸였지만 슈라이버가 적극적으로 옹호, 당선에 적지 않은 공헌을 했다.

이들은 미성년 자녀 둘을 포함해 4명의 자녀를 두고 있다.
