A Christmas bash in Bucheon is to raise cash for Korean orphans on Friday night.

The event at the Park bar in Jung-dong, Bucheon, will see gifts and cash collected for various orphanages in Gyeonggi Province.

Various Itaewon restaurants have donated prizes to a raffle and several musical acts will provide entertainment throughout the night.

Attendees are invited to bring wrapped gifts bearing labels saying what age and gender of child they are suitable for, or to give cash donations.

Highway 9 will stage an acoustic performance at 10:30 p.m. followed by Kevin Heintz from Magma Falls at 11 p.m.

Vadim Scott will sing some Christmas hits his own way at 11:30 p.m. and JoshRoy will then bring some Reggae to Bucheon at 12:30 p.m.

JoshRoy is joining forces with Richard Babin for the event.

The first successful installment of Toys for Tots was held last Friday at the Rocky Mountain Tavern in Itaewon, with patrons giving toys or funds to buy gifts for needy children this Christmas.

JoshRoy will also be performing for another charitable event earlier in the evening.

“You See These ... Namibian kids trying to finish their education” organized by expat, Jeremy Polio will be held at Manhattan in Itaewon.
