The Korean pop music group TVXQ has successfully finished its first event for Taiwanese fans in three years, the group's entertainment agency said Monday.
About 10,000 fans attended the two "fan meeting" events held at "Taipei Show Hall 2" in the Taiwanese capital on Sunday, SM Entertainment Co. said.
During the event, TVXQ performed several hit-songs such as "Keep Your Head Down," "MAXIMUM" and "Rising Sun" and "Before U Go"
and made a Taiwanese-style bubble tea with fans, the company said.
The K-pop group arrived in Taiwan on Saturday and was met by a welcoming crowd of about 1,000, it said.
The visit to Taipei was the last leg of the group's Asian tour that began in Singapore on Dec. 4 to attend fan meetings and appear on TV music programs. The tour also took the group to Tokyo and Shanghai. TVXQ was set to return home on Monday. (Yonhap News)
동방신기 대만 팬미팅..입국장 1천명 몰려
그룹 동방신기가 3년만의 대만 팬미팅을 성공리에 마무리했다.
12일 SM엔터테인먼트에 따르면 지난 11일 대만 타이베이(臺北)의 '타이베이쇼 홀2'에서 두 차례에 걸쳐 열린 동방신기 대만 팬미팅에는 1만여 명의 팬들이 몰렸다 .
이날 행사에서 동방신기는 '왜(Keep Your head Down)' '맥시멈(MAXIMUM)' '라이 징 선(Rising Sun)', '이것만은 알고가' 등의 히트곡을 선보였으며, 팬들과 함께 대 만식 버블티를 만드는 등 뜻 깊은 시간을 보냈다.
팬미팅 하루 전인 지난 10일 쑹산(松山) 공항을 통해 대만에 입국한 동방신기는 입국 직후부터 현지 유력 매체들의 인터뷰 요청을 받았다. 입국장에는 공항 사상 최 다인 1천여명의 환영 인파가 몰렸다고 SM은 전했다.
동방신기는 지난 4일 싱가포르 팬파티를 시작으로 일본 후지TV 연말 가요제 참 석(7일), 중국 상하이 팬파티(9일), 대만 타이베이 팬파티(11일) 등 아시아 순회 일 정을 소화했으며 12일 한국으로 돌아올 예정이다.
