The Embassy of Denmark will host a conference on sustainable architecture in collaboration with the Korea Institute of Registered Architects.

The conference aims to promote Danish architecture in Korea within the field of sustainability and will include both Danish architects and companies providing solutions in the form of green buildings.

Kai-Uwe Bergman from BIG, which has won several international prizes for sustainable achitecture, will deliver a keynote speech.

The conference will also present representatives from C.F. Moller, Julien De Smedt, ONV and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. Furthermore, the Danish companies Danfoss, Grundfos and Junckers will also give presentations.

The conference will be held from Nov. 16-18 at the KIRA office in Seocho-gu and will lead up to the second meeting in the Green Growth Alliance, which will take place during the Danish Crown Prince couple’s visit to Korea in May 2012.
