Cosmetics maker Amore Pacific on Wednesday said it would be sponsoring the 17th conference of the International Federation of Organic Agricultural Movements to be held here next month.

Several of Amore Pacific’s brands such as Osulloc will be participating as sponsors, the company said.

The conference will run during Sept. 26-Oct. 5 at Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province, under the title of “Organic agriculture is life,” with more than 1,000 members of the academia, agricultural sector and distribution companies participating from over 100 countries.

This marks the first time for the conference to be held in the Asian region.

Held every three years, the organic conference is considered as the Olympic Games of the world’s organic industries, Amore Pacific said.
