An animal welfare charity is seeking helpers to stage a bake sale during a theatrical production. The Korean Animal Protection Society is to host the sale during the run of “A Streetcar Named Desire” at the YMCA in Daegu.
The charity which helps rescue and find homes for abandoned pets in Korea is to sell cakes at the shows on Sept. 24 at 7 p.m. and Sept. 25 at 2 p.m. Cash raised will go to the KAPS foster fund, which helps fund treatment for sick animals.
Organizers are looking for people to help bake, or to sell the goods on the days. Others can also donate money or ingredients to help with the baking.
