South Korean Olympic medalist Park Tae-hwan will be teaching at a high school for four weeks in Dankook Technical High School in Seoul, according to reports.
As a physical education major at Dankook College of Education, he has to spend four weeks practicing teaching before he graduates, Yonhap News reported.

His teaching practice was supposed to take place around April or May. However, it was postponed because of his participation in the Federation Internationale de Natation Amateur that opened in July in Shanghai.
Park was unable to attend lectures regularly because of 2008 Beijing Olympics, 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games and the world championship series. However, he was able to steadily complete educational programs by taking online classes with the school’s cooperation.
He will practice swimming in the afternoon during his four weeks of teaching practice to get ready for 2012 London Olympics.
After Park finishes teaching practice, he will be going to Brisbane, Australia to meet Coach Michael Ball for training.

박태환은 오는 5일부터 30일까지 4주간 강남구 대치동 단국공업고등학교에서 교생 실습을 한다고 학교 관계자가 1일 전했다.
경기고를 나와 2008년 단국대 사범대학 체육교육과에 입학한 박태환은 대학 졸 업 전 마지막 학기를 맞아 교생 실습을 하게 됐다.
졸업을 위해 반드시 거쳐야 하는 교생 실습은 애초 지난 4∼5월 예정돼 있었다.
하지만 올 7월 중국 상하이에서 열린 2011 국제수영연맹(FINA) 세계수영선수권 대회 준비 때문에 가을로 미뤄졌다.
이번에 단국공고에서 교생 실습을 하는 것은 박태환 혼자다.
박태환은 대학 입학 후 2008년 베이징 올림픽과 2010년 광저우 아시안게임, 그 리고 두 차례 세계선수권대회를 준비하고 치르느라 제대로 수업에 참가지 못했다.
그러나 학교 측의 배려로 인터넷 수업이나 과제물 제출 등 체육특기자를 위한 교육프로그램을 착실히 이수한 것으로 알려졌다.
내년 런던 올림픽에서 다시 한번 자유형 400ｍ에서 세계제패를 노리는 박태환은 교생 실습 기간에도 오후에는 개인훈련을 이어갈 계획이다.
박태환은 교생 실습을 마치고 10월 중순 이후 호주 브리즈번으로 건너가 전담 지도자인 마이클 볼(호주) 코치와 함께 런던 올림픽에 대비한 본격적인 훈련을 시작 한다.
