A disabled single mother is calling on volunteers and donors to help assist other people with disabilities too.
Lee min-joo, CEO of the Korea Assistance Association for Disabled People is asking others to help her offer aid to other handicapped people in need of help.
Lee, who was left disabled after suffering pulmonary tuberculosis as a child, has already helped many disabled people through a day center that she runs. She now wishes to open a welfare town where they can receive training to live more independent lives. Anyone interested in donating or offering their assistance can call 063-237-5570.
