Expats hungry for more to read can pick up some bargains this month in the name of a good cause.
The Seoul Global Center is holding a special flea-market for secondhand books on Aug. 27 from noon till 4 p.m.
The flea market takes place between the Han River and Ttukseom Resort Station on Line 2 to raise funds for the Beautiful Foundation.
If your bookshelves are about to burst, you can offload some of their unwanted tomes by running a stall at the market.
Each person is limited to 40 books and must donate 10 percent of their takings to the Beautiful Foundation charity.
To participate, download an application form from the SGC website (global.seoul.go.kr/) and email it to jglim@sba.seoul.kr or fax it to (02) 723-3206. For enquiries call (02) 2075-4180.
