Volunteer group runs Gangwon tour

Volunteer group BBB is celebrating its annual International Friends Day on July 10 with a trip to Namiseom in Gangwon Province.

The river island near Chun­cheon is famous for its tree lined paths that have appeared in several films and dramas

The event is open to all foreign nationals in Korea. The program includes the Hallyu Tour Train, Making Mak-guksu (a buckwheat noodle dish) and a visit to the literary village of Kim You-Jeong.

The tour is 10,000 won, and runs from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. departing from Seoul Station. Expenses are included.

To register for the event, email event@bbbkorea.org with your name nationality and contact details. Spaces are limited to 300 people on a first-come-first-served basis. Payment is due July 1.
