Chinese billionaire confesses affair through online message

A Chinese billionaire, Wang Gongquan, announced that he is eloping with his mistress, on Chinese Social Networking Service Sino Weibo. The renowned investor’s online message to dump his wife to leave with his new love immediately went viral, The Telegraph reported.
He posted the message saying, “I am giving up everything and eloping with Wang Qin. I feel ashamed and so am leaving without saying goodbye. I kneel down and beg forgiveness.”
Within 24 hours, 60,000 Weibo users reposted the message and 30,000 people commented on it, many of whom were high-profile Chinese executives. The mistress, Wang Qin, is the founder of Jiangsu Zhongfu Investments, arousing a scandal in Chinese business circles.
However, he did not leave his firm, CDH Investments, along with Sino Weibo, further posting several philosophical messages. He posted a video of himself singing a self-written song, ‘Ode to Elopement’ on Youku, a website similar to YouTube.

이 글이 올라온 뒤 하루가 지나지 않아 6만명의 Weibo 사용자들이 재치 있게 반론했으며 3만명의 사용자들이 덧글을 달았다. 새로운 사랑의 주인공인 왕 친씨는 Jiangsu Zhonfu 투자산업의 창립자이다. 이로 인해 이 스캔들은 중국 비즈니스 사회에 큰 파장을 일으키며 고위 중국 경영자들의 뜨거운 반응을 이끌었다.
