Emma Watson, who played Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter movie series, is to put her studying on hold.
“I’ve decided to take a bit of time off to completely finish my work on ‘Harry Potter’ … and to focus on my other professional and acting projects,” posted Watson on her site Emmawatson.com, explaining her decision.
“I will still be working towards my degree ... it’s just going to take me a semester or two longer than I thought,” “As you know, I love Brown and I love studying pretty much more than anything but recently I’ve had so much to juggle that being a student AND fulfilling my other commitments has become a little impossible,” she added.
However, there is a rumor circulating claiming that Watson was having trouble living the life of a student due to her fame.
She has allegedly been teased by peers with lines from Harry Potter, according to New York Daily News. Apparently, students would shout “three points for Gryffindor” when she answered questions during class.
It is expected that she will leave Brown and transfer to another university, according to reports.
