The car will debut at the Geneva Motor Show on March 1 and will tour this year as the company collects data that “will be crucial in informing future decisions on alternative drive- trains for Rolls-Royce Motor cars,” BMW said in an e-mailed statement Sunday. (Bloomberg)

고급차의 대명사인 롤스로이스가 3월 제네바 모터쇼에 처음으로 전기차를 선보인다.
회사측은 콘셉트카로 제작된 이 차는 팬텀 모델씨리즈의 하나로 개발되었다고 밝히면서 본격 생산에 들어가기 앞서 각종 평가 자료등을 반영하겠다고 말했다.
102EX라 불리우는 이 전기차는 럭셔리 자동차 부분의 최초의 전기차가 될것으로 예상된다.
102EX는 금년 내내 유럽, 중동 , 북미 그리고 아시아를 순회하게 될것이며 이 전기차에 대한 반응을 회사측은 면밀히 검토하게 될것이라고 밝혔다.
