Bentley Korea, the local importer of British automaker Bentley Motors Ltd., on Wednesday introduced the latest models of Bentley’s super luxury sedan, the Continental Flying Spur, in Korea.

The new Flying Spur Series 51 come in two trims ― the Flying Spur and the Flying Spur Speed ― both equipped with a V12, 6.0-liter engine that produces a maximum horsepower of 600.

The Continental Flying Spur has a maximum speed of 312 kilometers per hour and a zero to 100 km/h sprint time of 5.2 seconds with the Flying Spur Speed traveling at a maximum speed of 322 km/h with a zero to 100 km/h sprint time of 4.8 seconds.

Still, “the most distinguished characteristic of the Series 51 line-up is in their interior design that is simply the most luxurious,” Bentley Korea said in a press release.

The vehicles come with tailor-made and sewn leather seats that are virtually scratch free, in addition to top-of-the-line wood finishes and floor carpeting, the company said.

Both the Flying Spur and the Flying Spur Speed models come with a starting price of around 300 million won ($268,200), but the price varies as each customer is allowed to personalize the car from a wide selection of different features, the company said. (Yonhap News)
