Dutch Ambassador Paul Menkveld conferred upon former general manager of KLM Oh Kouk-hong the title of Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau in the name of Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands.

Menkveld explained that Oh received this prestigious decoration for his remarkable service to the Dutch national airline in South Korea.

He was also awarded the decoration for his efforts in promoting Dutch-Korean friendship during the years of service to the airline.

The Order of Orange-Nassau is a military and civil order of the Netherlands which was created in 1892 by the Queen regent Emma of the Netherlands, acting on behalf of her underage daughter Queen Wilhelmina.
