The Norwegian cross-country skiing competition Skarven Race Korea will be held on Jan. 29 in Gangwon Province.
This is the third time the Norwegian Embassy is organizing the Skarven Race, which will take place at the Alpensia Cross-country Stadium in Pyeongchang County.
“Participation in the race is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to try cross-country skiing,” said Norwegian Ambassador Didrik Tonseth.
The Norwegian Skarverennet is one of the largest cross-country competitions in the world.
The race, which has been regularly held since the early 1970s, starts at 1,222 meters above sea level in Finse and ends at Ustaoset, 1,000 meters above sea level.
