[BRIEFLY]Tokyo symphony to perform in Seoul

Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra will perform in Seoul April 16 for the first time in 23 years.
The concert, to take place at Sejong Center for the Performing Arts, will be led by principal conductor Kazuhiro Koizumi and feature Korean violinist Kwun Hyuk-joo.
Koizumi, one of the most renowned maestros in Japan, has helmed the orchestra since last year, Kwun, meanwhile, is an up-and-coming violinist who made his world debut by winning the second prize at the third Tchaikovsky International Youth Competition in 1997.
Tokyo Symphony and Kwun will play Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky `s "Polonaise" from "Eugene Onegin," violin concerto and symphony No. 5. The concert was organized by Kumho Cultural Foundation to promote artistic exchanges in Asia.
