LG Chem said Tuesday that the company signed a deal with the United Nations Children's Fund to supply two pediatric vaccines. Under the deal, LG Chem will supply $100 million worth of its polio vaccine Eupolio and $100 million worth of pentavalent vaccine Eupenta, which works for five different indications including tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, hepatitis B and Haemophilus influenzae. Amid continued inflation, Korea to review liquor tax system
The government will examine the liquor tax system, which has been propelling recent increases in beer prices amid the persistent inflation. Pending price hikes in soju, beer deepen inflation woes in Korea
Prices of soju and beer products in South Korea are expected to rise soon due to increases in tax, as well as higher costs of logistics and raw materials, according to industry sources, Wednesday.
