Fresh from their K-Pop Night showcase at MIDEM 2010 in Cannes, France, Korean hip-hoppers Epik High took time to chat with CNN Talk Asia.

The hugely popular hip-hop trio shared their thoughts on their struggles, successes, and aspirations with the widely viewed international program which is broadcast to nearly 280 million people worldwide.

CNN Talk Asia is a 30 minute documentary-style, interview-based show which profiles current headliners in politics, business, arts, entertainment, and sports.

Hosted by award-winning anchor Anjali Rao, Epik High join a distinguished group of Korean icons featured on previous editions of the show such as Manchester United midfielder Park Ji-sung, K-Pop sensation Rain and Hallyu star Lee Byung-hun.

The show has also spotlighted luminaries outside of the continent such as former U.S. President Bill Clinton, fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, pop diva Lady Gaga, and tennis legend Roger Federer.

"I found it very cool that CNN had a keen interest in the depth and diversity of the Korean music scene," said the band`s outspoken front man Tablo.

"It`s a major honor for us to represent Korean hip-hop on such a huge worldwide stage."

The recent recipient of the MIAK Golden Disk Award for Best Korean Hip-Hop/Rap Artist, Epik High emerged as one of Korea`s biggest breakthrough acts of 2009 as they became the first K-Pop act to sell-out a tour (Map the Soul), in North America on top of breaking into the top 5 of the iTunes USA ranking.

The group is currently at work on their follow-up titled Epilogue. CNN Talk Asia episode with Epik High is scheduled to air on April 21st.
