Rate rises no problem for older buyers paying cash

Repeated interest rate rises are causing pain for many homebuyers but not those who can afford to pay cash for a new property. New research shows cash sales accounted for more than a quarter of all property transactions in Australia’s eastern states last year totalling 122-billion dollars.
